Figuring out why the performance of a PPC account has changed can be one of the most time-consuming tasks in PPC. I’ll cover how a typical investigation is done and share free tools and scripts that can help speed up this process. Of particular interest is Google’s just-announced ‘Explanations’ feature, which can be a great help when trying to find the culprit when things don’t go as planned. A Brief Introduction to Data Science Data science crosses paths with both big data and artificial intelligence when it comes to analyzing and processing data known as datasets. The big list of 2019 Google search algorithm updates

Google’s pace of tweaking and updating Search has accelerated dramatically — it made 3,200 changes to Search in 2018 alone, up from about 400 changes back in 2010. Just a sliver of these changes receive public confirmation or even draw substantial attention, but those that do can (sometimes) provide insights into the kinds of content that Google prioritizes and ranks well. 2019 saw a number of publically disclosed core and other search algorithm updates. Among the many changes of 2019, Google established a naming convention for core updates and brought natural language understanding to search results. Video: Will Hanke on teaching SEO and lead generation

While in St. Louis I met up with an old colleague that I’ve known in the SEO space since the early days – Will Hanke. Will Hanke is what I would call an old-fashioned SEO, still doing solo-SEO work for local businesses and helping the local community by teaching SEO in his local library. Lead generation is a business he is still in, where he helps local businesses acquire leads in a specific niche. The location of this interview was also unique, we were in a super market […]
