New Report Looks at the Growth of Influencer Marketing on Instagram

Data analytics company Klear has conducted a new report on the state of influencer marketing on Instagram, analyzing over three million sponsored posts in order to identify key trends and shifts of note. And the data shows that influencer marketing is, indeed, on the rise. According to Klear’s analysis, the number of Instagram posts using the #ad hashtag, signifying a brand partnership, increased by almost 50% in 2019. That’s probably not surprising – with Instagram seeing more usage, it makes sense that brands would also be looking to align with that shift. Snapchat Launches New, Interactive Ad Format, New Competitive Game Features

Snapchat Launches New, Interactive Ad Format, New Competitive Game Features

Snapchat has this week launched a new movie preview ad format called a “trailer reaction lens” as part of a campaign for the upcoming Paramount Pictures film “Top Gun: Maverick”. As you can see here, the new Lens switches your view to split screen, with the trailer on top, and the front-facing camera on the bottom. Users can then film their reactions to the trailer, while they can also add dedicated digital mask-type tools to their image, adding to the feel of the film. The format seems somewhat similar to TikTok’s ‘React’ option, which enables users to share their video responses to TikTok videos. The option also reminded me of this web […]

Adapting to the New Era of Search, According to Moz’s SEO Scientist

The era of the high Google click-through rate is nearing its end and the age of the low-click landscape is dawning. While Google is still the number one traffic source for most sites on the web, over half of all searches these days result in no click at all. There are a multitude of reasons to explain this shift. More searchers are finding the information they need from featured snippets, which have increased in prevalence tremendously in recent years. SERP features — including rich snippets, paid ads, and Knowledge Graph data — have overtaken the results pages, making at-a-glance answers the norm. Additionally, increasingly robust Google My Business profiles provide […]

50 Bright Ideas for Promoting Content to Drive Leads

50 Bright Ideas for Promoting Content to Drive Leads

There’s nothing quite as euphoric as launching a new piece of content.
