This could be interesting – one of the common problems raised with Twitter is the prevalence of bot profiles, non-human Twitter handles which can amplify, manipulate and replicate tweet engagement. This has become particularly problematic in political discussion – last year, Wired reported that bot profiles were dominating political news streams, and amplifying trends, with bot profiles contributing up to 60% of tweet activity around some events. Google showed featured snippets on desktop 86.6% of the time compared to 73.3% on mobile, according to a 30-day study conducted by Rank Ranger. The findings. The study looked at a dataset of 265 keywords known to produce featured snippets on desktop. It found that, on any given day, publishers are more likely to land a featured snippet on desktop than they are on mobile because there is a higher chance that Google will show a desktop snippet. Pinterest has begun rolling out a new Pin format, which includes some minor functional tweaks, and separates each Pin element more specifically. As you can see in this example, provided by user @KenSchillinger, the update shifts the ‘Save’ and ‘Send’ buttons, as well as the options menu, to below the Pin image, as opposed to along the top bar in the current format.
